Modern teams are already adopting AI to drive efficiency. We specialise in industrial software that empowers African companies to embrace this transformation responsibly. We provide the tools you need to move forward, with a firm commitment to data sovereignty and security.

We build 7Maintain — maintenance and compliance software for plants, abattoirs, cold stores and factories. Everything we make follows one rule: your operational data stays where it belongs.
That's not a marketing position. It's an engineering decision we made early, and it's shaped every part of how the product works.
Your staff are already using AI tools. Not maliciously — they're trying to get work done. But asset lists, incident reports, supplier details, employee information and customer records are being pasted into free chatbots every day, in every industry. Once it's pasted, it has left your control. It may be stored. It may train a model. And under POPIA, you remain the responsible party — not the employee, and not the tool.
And your software vendors are adding AI too. Many are bolting it on quickly, sending your operational data to overseas cloud services to be processed. Often it's buried in a terms update you didn't read. Ask most vendors where their AI runs and who processes your data, and you'll get a vague answer.
Neither of these is a reason to panic, and neither is a reason to ban technology. But they are both reasons to be deliberate.
There's real value in these systems, and avoiding them entirely has a cost too. Used properly, an assisted system will:
That last one matters most. The point isn't to scrape through audits. It's that the same system, running every day, quietly holds a standard higher than the one you're inspected against — and it shows up for every shift, every employee, without needing to be reminded. Consistency is the thing people can't sustain manually, and it's the thing software is genuinely good at.
Over time it gets sharper still. Every verified repair and confirmed failure builds a picture of how your equipment actually behaves — which is the foundation for knowing when a part is heading for failure, and when the sensible moment to replace it is. That comes from your own maintenance history, held properly. It's why the record-keeping is worth doing well.
None of this requires sending your data to another country. All of it can run on hardware you or your provider controls. The technology isn't the risk — the plumbing is.
We run our own inference hardware in South Africa. Every feature in 7Maintain that touches customer data is processed there — never on a foreign cloud service.
It fails closed. If that private system is unavailable, the feature switches off and tells you. It does not quietly fall back to sending your data somewhere else. We removed that fallback path deliberately, so a misconfiguration can't become a leak.
We can tell you exactly where your data is. If you ask us where a specific record is processed and stored, you'll get a straight answer with no hedging. We think that should be the normal standard, not a differentiator.
POPIA by construction, not by promise. A privacy policy is a statement of intent. Architecture is what actually stops data leaving.
7Assistant is the helper built into 7Maintain. It's there to take the admin out of maintenance work — not to make the decisions for you.
It runs on our own hardware, in South Africa. Anything involving your data is processed on machines we own, in-country — never on an overseas AI service.
It fails closed. If that system is unavailable, the feature switches off and tells you. It does not quietly send your data somewhere else. We removed that fallback on purpose.
It proposes, you decide. 7Assistant suggests; a person confirms. It doesn't approve work, sign off a job card, or change your records on its own.
You can ask us where anything lives. Any record, any time — you'll get a straight answer, not a hedge.
That's the honest version: it's an assistant, not an autopilot. That's a deliberate design choice, and it's why you can put it in front of an auditor.
Maintenance and compliance software for South African plants: a full 365-day preventive-maintenance schedule with the statutory items flagged, work-order management your team runs from their phones, the equipment registers your auditor asks for, and the Audit 7Assistant Score that shows you your gaps before an auditor finds them.
