7Maintain — Account & data deletion

Delete your 7Maintain account

This page explains how to request deletion of your 7Maintain account and the personal data associated with it. 7Maintain is operated by SEVEN TWENTY DEGREES (Pty) Ltd (Registration No. 2023/212025/07), the developer shown on the Google Play store listing.

How 7Maintain accounts work

7Maintain is a workplace maintenance-management application. Most user accounts are created by an organisation's administrator or manager so that staff can be assigned work. Because your account belongs to your employer's organisation, you can request deletion in either of two ways below — both are honoured.

How to request deletion

Option A — Email us directly (recommended)

  1. Send an email to admin@720degree.co.za from the email address registered on your 7Maintain account.
  2. Put "7Maintain account deletion request" in the subject line.
  3. Include your full name and the name of your organisation (employer) so we can locate the account. If you log in by PIN and are unsure of the registered email, include your mobile number instead.
  4. We confirm your identity (to protect your data from fraudulent deletion), then process the request. We will reply to confirm once it is complete.

Option B — Ask your organisation administrator

  1. Contact the manager or administrator who set up your 7Maintain access.
  2. Ask them to remove your account from the organisation in the app's team-management screen.
  3. For full erasure of your personal data (not just removal from the team), they — or you — should also email admin@720degree.co.za as in Option A.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Deletion is request-based and carried out by our team — it is not automatic and not self-service. It does not happen simply because you stop using the app, or because your organisation removes you from its team; to have your personal data erased you must send us a request as described above. Once we have verified your identity, we action the erasure within 30 days.

When we process a verified deletion request, we remove your personal account information. A limited set of records is retained only where South African law requires it, and personal identifiers in those records are minimised or pseudonymised wherever possible.

DataWhat happensTimeframe
Account profile — your name, email address, mobile number, job title, login credentials and PIN, profile photo, skills/certificate records and notification preferences Deleted Within 30 days of a verified request
Personal data held in encrypted backups Deleted as backups roll over Purged within 90 days on the standard backup cycle
Work-order activity tied to you personally (assignments, comments, photos you added) Your personal identifiers are removed or pseudonymised; the operational record may remain with the organisation in de-identified form Identifiers removed within 30 days
Work-order sign-off signatures and the electronic audit trail (kept as data messages under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, §14), and financial/procurement transaction records Retained even if you request deletion, where the law requires it for evidentiary, audit, tax and company-law obligations — then deleted Up to 5 years, after which they are deleted or fully anonymised

If you only want to remove some of your data rather than your whole account, say so in your email and we will tell you what can be removed while you remain an active user.
